FO-RUM Concept

Synergy is created through interdisciplinary co-operation and the integration of research and teaching. The aim is to form closer links between FO-RUM’s research and national and international research environments.

Interdisciplinarity informs FO-RUM’s activities which include interdisciplinary research projects, participation in different research networks and inclusion of students in research activities.

Societal interface is important for FO-RUMs activities.Through investment in the outreach objectives of the university, FO-RUM takes on the challenge of making effective use of public resources and providing research-based information to decision-makers in the public and private sectors.
