Criteria for acceptance
A total number of 16 Journalism/Communication students at advanced bachelor’s level will be accepted to the module, based on their applications.
Applications will be considered on the basis of
- letter of motivation, max. length one A4 (0-5 points)
- earlier studies (0-5 points)
- recommendations (0-5 points)
- journalistic practice (0-5 points)
Preference will be given to applicants from Schools and University departments of Journalism / Communication with an existing Erasmus, Nordplus or other partnership with the Swedish School of Social Science.
Journalism students from the Universities of Tampere and Jyväskylä may apply through the JOO-agreement.
Decision on the application
Applicants will be informed of the decision by e-mail and later confirmed by letter.Submitting an appeal
The applicant has the right to appeal a decision within 14 days from the day the decision was made public. The mailing address for the request is Swedish School of Social Science, International Office, P.O. Box 16, 00014 University of Helsinki.
