Postgraduate training within the project

A regular project seminar is organized in association to the project for the purposes of postgraduate training. Professor Elianne Riska has regularly acted as a guest commentator on the seminars. Apart from sessions on the ongoing work of project researchers visiting researchers have given presentations on the seminar. During the fall term of 2005 Edwin van Teijlingen (University of Aberdeen) and Ellen Annandale (University of Leicester) attend the seminar.

In addition to the regular seminars, intensive thematic seminars have been organized one to two times a year in collaboration with Academy of Finland project The Politics of Recruitment at University of Tampere (project leader docent, academy research fellow Lea Henriksson).
