Imre Kovách
Dr. Imre Kovách is one of the leading experts on the development in Central Europe after 1990. His areas of expertise include rural development and social classes; recently he has been specializing in environmental questions as well.
Vanessa May
Dr. Vanessa May is Lecturer in Sociology at the
University of Manchester, UK. Her research has examined lone motherhood and post-divorce parenting in Finland and the UK.
Her publications and teaching also cover biographical methods, narrative analysis and the self.
Natalia Pleshkova
Ph.D. Natalia Pleshkova is Associate professor at the Saint-Petersburg State University, Faculty of Psychology, from which she also received her Ph.D. Her research area is developmental psychology, particularly the development of attachment of orphanage and family-reared children. Additionally, she has worked as a psychologist in early intervention service. Her research is community-based and seeks to develop evidence to guide best practice in orphanage caregiver-child and parent-child support and intervention. She has taken part in Russian-American research projects, conducting, among other things, expert assessments of caregiver-child interactions and the evolving attachment patterns of post-institutionalized children.
