Nordic network to develop research on migration, ethnic relations and media

A Nordic funding institution NordForsk granted a three year funding (2007-2010) for the Nordic Research Network for Media, Migration and Society in October 2007, which covers the researchers working in this field in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and Norway. The grant is 300 000 NOK/year. The network is directed by PhD Karina Horsti at the Center for Research on Ethnic Relations and Nationalism, University of Helsinki, Finland.
